P>O>C......Pop of Color!! 2012

Although, this trend has been relevent since Fall 2011, I forecast it will not have the effect it was designed to have, until Spring 2012.....

It's called P.O.C. or "Color Blocking"......... I first spotted this trend in the Fall 2011 collections of several designers...... My interest was further peaked when I saw an episode of It's a Brad, Brad, World.... Brad Goreski pitched an idea to a publication on the trend of "Color Blocking". Brad who "Color Blocks" smashingly    created a story line about the everyday man who want to make a statement though his wardrobe by incorporating a "POP" of color into his attire though a sock, a shoe, a neck tie.......

Since then I have been obsessed with how I would present my version of this HOTT!!!! Trend called "Color Blocking!! So here it is....Starting now every Friday I will upload a new way to "Color Block" or add P.O.C. into your life using our makeup wardrobe!!!!  Fun right!!

Find your perfect shade in the chart below by first finding whether you have warm, cool, or neutral undertones to your skin.  






As a rule of thumb, your blush color should be a shade lighter than your lip color to brighten your overall complexion

Know your blush  

Neutral undertones: 

The veins in your wrist will appear bluish green

You have equal amounts of peach and rose in 

your skin, or you have an olive skin tone. 

Your blush: Healthy Glow or Cinnamon

Warm undertones:  

The veins in your wrist will appear green

A fair skin tone with gold or yellow undertones--you have no problems tanning   

Your blush: Velvet Peach  

--Or--

A medium skin tone with darker features (dark eyes or dark hair) Your blush: For Da Boys or Hint of Blush 

--Or--

A dark skin tone

Your blush: Cognac Kiss or Sunset Peach

A fair skin tone with pink hues--you probably burn more than tan  

Your blush: Classic Pink or Dusty Rose

What is Moroccan Aragan Oil?? 

Moroccan Oil comes from the Argan Tree, which is found in Morocco. This oil therefore has two interchangeable names: one for the tree, Argan, and one for the place, Morocco.

Morocco is found just south of Spain across the straight of Gibraltar. The Argan Tree only grows in South West Morocco, where we find the Western Sahara Desert.

Urban Decay’s “Naked” Pallet……

 

So many people did YouTube's on this pallet I had to have it!! This Pallet is a must have for creating Au Natural looks with a kick!! I love it!! It also came with a nice brush and a small primer potion!! I would have done a swatch and review but I think there are enough!!
